About the Role
Lead grounds and maintenance operations across Scott Lakes Property Company’s portfolio. This hands-on leadership role oversees the grounds team, coordinates seasonal workloads, maintains equipment, and manages outdoor projects, repairs, and winter interior improvements. Requires a valid driver’s license, reliable pickup truck, basic tools, strong leadership and maintenance experience, and advanced equipment knowledge; experience with heavier equipment is a major plus.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license and reliable pickup truck
Own basic tools
Extensive groundskeeping and property-maintenance experience
Experience leading, supervising, or overseeing grounds and maintenance work
Expert-level knowledge of mowers, trimmers, blowers, wood chippers, trailers, and other landscaping equipment
Strong hand-tool, power-tool, equipment-maintenance, and equipment-repair skills
Comfortable with sprinkler and irrigation-system maintenance and repair
Experience with fencing, deck work, painting, power washing, trails, and general outdoor improvement projects
Ability to manage seasonal workloads, prioritize projects, and maintain quality across multiple properties
Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work
Knowledge of operating and repairing heavier equipment—such as dump trucks, backhoes, bulldozers, tractors, and brush hogs—is a significant advantage
Comfortable completing winter interior projects, including repairs, painting, flooring, furniture replacement, and light remodeling
